Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush.
I am in the graceful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight.
I am the starshine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom.
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing.
I am in each gentle thing.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there. I did not die.

On Friday, June 3, 2005, our dear, sweet friend, LeeAnn Smith Cho, passed away after a three-year struggle with chondrosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer. It is impossible to calculate the number of lives she touched with her talent, her beautiful spirit, and her eternal optimism. We will never stop missing her, but we take comfort in the fact that we will see her again someday.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Smith and Cho families as they cope with this terrible loss.
Anyone wishing to make a charitable donation in LeeAnn's memory should send their donations, marked specifically for chondrosarcoma research, to:
